Sen. Bernie Sanders raised $18 million for his 2020 presidential bid in the second quarter, putting him behind Pete Buttigieg’s $24.8 million haul during the same period.
Sanders’ campaign said Tuesday it had also transferred $6 million from other accounts.
His take roughly matches $18.2 million he raked in during the first quarter when Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Ind., amassed $7 million.
Sanders and Buttigieg are the only two Democratic candidates to release their second-quarter fundraising totals.
President Trump and the Republican National Committee raked in a combined $105 million in the last three months.
Trump’s committees raised $54 million and the RNC brought in $51 million.
Candidates have until July 15 under Federal Election Commission rules to release their second-quarter fundraising totals.
