Sarah Palin went a little rogue on an Alaskan roadway last week — getting ticketed for speeding and blaming it on rocker Sammy Hagar, according to a report.
The former Alaska governor was pulled over in her hometown of Wasilla last Wednesday for going 65 mph in a 45-mph zone, according to TMZ.
She told cops that Hagar’s classic “I Can’t Drive 55” was playing on the radio and inspired her to push the pedal to the metal.
“I wasn’t speeding, I was qualifying” for NASCAR, she quipped to cops.
