Chilling footage of bedroom Nancy Guthrie was likely taken from resurfaces as desperate search nears 6 weeks

By Connor Surmonte

Chilling footage of the bedroom Nancy Guthrie was most likely abducted from has resurfaced as the desperate search for Savannah Guthrie’s missing mom approaches its sixth full week.

The clip, which originally aired on the “Today” show in 2013, was unearthed by Megyn Kelly and shared to YouTube on Wednesday.

It shows Nancy, then 71, teaching her famous daughter and Savannah’s “Today” colleagues the proper way to make a bed every morning.

“Well, I think everybody needs to know how to make a bed,” Nancy said in the segment, which was filmed inside the bedroom of her $1 million Tucson, Ariz., home around 3 a.m. local time.

FBI reportedly quizzes workers at Mexican eatery where Nancy Guthrie filmed ‘Today’ segment before kidnapping

By Emily Crane

FBI agents have reportedly quizzed employees at the Mexican restaurant where Nancy Guthrie filmed a “Today” show segment with daughter Savannah just months before she was kidnapped.

The 84-year-old matriarch tagged along with her daughter for a nostalgic tour of Tucson and the places she visited growing up — including the Mexican eatery.

Federal agents showed up at the restaurant to ask if workers recalled seeing anyone “suspicious” while the Guthries were there filming, according to NewsNation’s Brian Entin.

In addition to any dodgy characters, Entin claimed workers were also asked if there was “anyone who wanted to take pictures or who got angry or who was lingering around in a creepy way.”

Exclusive: Sheriff makes another crucial error in Nancy Guthrie’s ‘complicated’ disappearance case: expert

Sheriff Chris Nanos made another critical mistake in Nancy Guthrie’s “complicated” disappearance, an expert believes.

On Thursday, Nanos revealed he has a theory on why Guthrie was “targeted” and warned the Tucson, Ariz., community that the abductor could strike again — but wouldn’t share any further information.

Former FBI agent Jason Pack told Page Six of the official’s remarks, “From my experience as a crisis communications practitioner, where it gets complicated is when, in that same interview, he suggests the suspect could strike again. Once you put that out there, every person watching wants to know who’s at risk and what they ought to do about it.”

“If you can’t answer those questions, you probably shouldn’t lead with that statement. A warning without context doesn’t necessarily protect people. It worries them. And it sits a little uneasily alongside the ‘targeted attack’ framing he’s also offered.”

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, who has faced criticism over the fruitless month-long search for Guthrie, gave the knowing update while refusing to give up details, even as he suggested others are not “safe.”

By Caitlin McCormack

A more than decade-old “Today” show segment resurfaced Wednesday, revealing a rare glimpse inside missing matriarch Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson bedroom.

In the 2013 clip, early riser Nancy, then 71, guided her daughter, Savannah Guthrie, and her “Today” show colleagues through her intimate daily bed-making routine — at 3 a.m. MST — inside her $1 million suburban home.

“Well, I think everybody needs to know how to make a bed. So, when the time came to teach [Savannah and her siblings] how to make a bed, this is what I tried to teach you,” a good-natured Nancy explained, while the hosts poked fun at Savannah’s haphazard morning routine.
