The cruise ship operated by the Church of Scientology that was quarantined over a measles scare has set sail for Curacao, according to a report.
The 440-foot vessel Freewinds left St. Lucia around 11:18 p.m. Thursday to head to Curacao after being placed under quarantine for two days.
The ship carrying 300 passengers is set to arrive at the Dutch Caribbean island’s port of Willemstad around 6 a.m. local time Saturday, according to NBC News.
Passengers were stuck on the Freewinds after a female crew member tested positive for measles.
The infected patient was isolated and in stable condition, health officials said.
The crew member reportedly visited a doctor April 22 for cold symptoms and a blood sample was taken. She received the results confirming her symptoms were from the measles Monday, a day after the ship departed for St. Lucia.
