The search for a Colorado mother missing since Thanksgiving has expanded to include a landfill, according to a report.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigations will sift through the Midway Landfill south of Colorado Springs for evidence on the disappearance and presumed murder of mom of one Kelsey Berreth, ABC News reported.
The landfill is roughly a 40-mile drive from the supermarket where Berreth, 29, was last seen publicly, shopping with her 1-year-old daughter on Thanksgiving Day.
Police say her fiance and the father of her child, Patrick Frazee, was the last person to see her before she vanished. He’s been charged with her murder and three counts of trying to solicit someone to commit murder.
Police say they don’t believe Berreth is alive, but her body hasn’t been found.
Frazee, 32, is due back in court Feb. 19.
