Police in Arizona are searching for a missing high school teacher who was last seen near a highway, according to officials.

Elizabeth Breck, 46, was last seen around 3 p.m. Sunday near a rural crossroads in Catalina, which is around 23 miles away from where she teaches at Tucson High Magnet School, the Arizona Daily Star reported.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said the blond-haired teacher was wearing a gray skirt and gray top.

Officials said they are investigating her disappearance because of where she was last spotted.

A spokesperson for Tucson Unified School District said counseling services will be provided for staff and students at the high school, where Breck teaches culturally relevant classes.

Anyone with information is urged to call authorities at 520-866-5111.
