"I wanted to tell the story of Ignacio encountering New York," Acosta told The New York Times. "I first did photos outside the stroller, but at his level. It didn't convince me. The story was just not strong."

What was the most impressive part of NYC for Ignacio? “His favorite place was a park in Queens, where there was a pond,” Acosta López said. “There was a lot of sunshine, the leaves were still colorful.
