President Trump, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and other Republicans impassionately called on lefty pols to stop “demonizing” Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers after a deadly shooting at a Dallas migrant processing facility on Wednesday.
“To every politician who is using rhetoric demonizing ICE and demonizing CBP [Customs and Border Protection]: stop,” Cruz begged during a press conference about the shooting.

Trump claimed the violence in Dallas “is the result of the Radical Left Democrats constantly demonizing Law Enforcement, calling for ICE to be demolished, and comparing ICE Officers to ‘Nazis.’
“The Brave Men and Women of ICE are just trying to do their jobs, and remove the ‘WORST of the WORST’ Criminals out of our Country, but they are facing an unprecedented increase in threats, violence, and attacks by Deranged Radical Leftists,” he wrote on Truth Social.

The words “anti-ICE” were written on a stripper clip of ammo found near the body of shooter Joshua Jahn, who took his own life during the gunfire.
The shooting comes as liberal activists and Democrats have directed heated criticism at the Trump administration’s hardline illegal immigration enforcement.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem argued the shooting should serve as a “wake-up call to the far-left that their rhetoric about ICE has consequences.”

“Comparing ICE Day-in and day-out to the Nazi Gestapo, the Secret Police, and slave patrols has consequences,” she wrote on X.
“The men and women of ICE are fathers and mothers, sons and daughters. They get up every morning to try and make our communities safer. Like everyone else, we just want to go home to our families at night.”
Vice President JD Vance also weighed in.
“The obsessive attack on law enforcement, particularly ICE, must stop,” Vance tweeted.
Authorities believe the shooting was targeted and fueled by an “ideological motive,” but a clear motive is still being probed.
