Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and the woman who’s accused him of a drunken, teenage sex attack are set for a public showdown next week.

Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford are both scheduled to testify at an open meeting of the Senate Judiciary Committee next Monday, postponing a vote that had been scheduled for Thursday, Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) announced late Monday evening.

The dramatic development followed offers from both sides to face off over their clashing versions of events.

Ford “is willing to do whatever it takes to get her story forth,” her lawyer, Debra Katz, told NBC’s “Today” show during a round of morning TV appearances.

Kavanaugh, meanwhile, doubled down on his denial of Ford’s allegations in a statement that said, “I have never done anything like what the accuser describes — to her or to anyone.”

“I am willing to talk to the Senate Judiciary Committee in any way the committee deems appropriate to refute this false allegation, from 36 years ago, and defend my integrity,” he added.
