At least two people were killed and another was injured in a shooting Tuesday night in Kenosha, Wisconsin, amid widespread chaos and looting following the police shooting of Jacob Blake, police said.

The gunfire rang out outside a car dealership near 63rd Street and Sheridan Road in Kenosha just before midnight, according to a statement the Kenosha police department posted to Twitter Wednesday morning.

Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that one person had been shot in the head and another in the chest. As of early Wednesday, no one had been taken into custody, but Beth said authorities had identified at least one person involved based on social media footage of the incident.

“I feel very confident we’ll have him in a very short time,” he said.

In a series of videos from the shooting, it appears a group of men had surrounded another man carrying a semi-automatic weapon. The man with the weapon is on the ground when he opens fire on the crowd.

“He shot him!” witnesses can be heard repeatedly saying. The gunman can be seen firing about 15 shots in one video.

After the gunfire stops, a man in the video can be seen taking off his shirt and bending down to assist the victim, who is on the ground near several cars.

Others also run toward the victim as people scream for help, the video shows.

“Call 911 — he’s down!” one person screams. “We need a medic,” another yells.

Close-up images show the victim lying on the concrete with witnesses using a T-shirt to apply pressure to the side of his head.

In another video, one man appears to get shot in the arm in the middle of a street. It’s unclear if the two shootings were related.

“F–k, I need a medic!” the man wails, according to livestream footage posted to social media.

The man tells several people who came to his aid that he is carrying a tourniquet and, through audio of the incident, it appears they used the device.

Other details about the shootings were not immediately available.
