Shocking new footage showed the moment Nick Reiner raised his hands to surrender on a Los Angeles street just hours after he allegedly butchered his parents at their nearby home.
Reiner, 32, was dressed in all dark clothes and wearing a baseball cap as he lingered near a crosswalk at a Metro station just 15 miles away from Rob and Michele Reiner’s home in Los Angeles.
When two police cars pulled up to the sidewalk, Reiner didn’t hesitate to hold his arms up in surrender, according to the chilling footage obtained by The Post.

Reiner was pushed to the ground and cuffed while lying on the pavement, according to separate since-deleted photos shared by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Gang and Narcotics Unit.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ it appeared that Rob and Michele Reiner were dead for hours by the time they were discovered Sunday afternoon – with rigor mortis already setting in.
Rigor mortis typically takes place two to six hours after death.

Rob and Michele Reiner’s bodies were discovered by their daughter, who told investigators that Reiner “should be a suspect” because he’s “dangerous,” sources said.

Sources speculated the argument was about Reiner’s refusal to undergo another stint at a rehabilitation center.
Eyewitnesses told NBC News that Reiner interrupted comedy heavyweight Bill Hader while he was in the middle of a private conversation.
The sources said that Hader told Reiner he was busy, and that Reiner just stood there before “storming off.”
Reiner, who has a history of heavy drug abuse, is being held without bail.
He is expected to be charged with two counts of first-degree murder for allegedly butchering his parents – and could face the death penalty.
