The anti-ICE gunman who opened fire on agents and migrants at a federal facility in Dallas Wednesday, killing one person and wounding two others, “didn’t have strong feelings” about ICE — and knew how to use a rifle, but wasn’t a very good shot, according to his brother.
“I didn’t think he was politically interested,” Joshua Jahn’s brother Noah told NBC News. “He wasn’t interested in politics on either side as far as I knew.
“He didn’t have strong feelings about ICE as far as I knew.”

The brothers were born and raised in a suburb of Dallas, but Joshua wanted to move to property his parents owned in Oklahoma, Noah revealed.
He said his brother knew how to shoot — and their parents owned a rifle — but that Joshua wasn’t a skilled shooter.

“Our prayers are with the families of those killed and our ICE law enforcement. This vile attack was motivated by hatred for ICE,” Noem said. “For months, we’ve been warning politicians and the media to tone down their rhetoric about ICE law enforcement before someone was killed. This shooting must serve as a wake-up call to the far-left that their rhetoric about ICE has consequences.”
