Silent protesters lined the halls Thursday outside the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing into sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

The protesters had “Believe” written on the palms of their hands, and wore tape over their mouths with “Believe survivors” and “Believe women” scrawled across it, according to CNN.

Video posted to social media also shows protesters standing silently and motionless in an elevator.

Kavanaugh and accuser Christine Blasey Ford are both slated to testify before the committee. Kavanaugh denies Ford’s allegations that he tried to force himself on her at a high school party in 1982.
