Two sisters are accused of driving around Cincinnati and randomly shooting defenseless homeless people with a BB gun, police said.
Brittany and Kelsey Hopper turned themselves into police custody on Tuesday over their alleged sick assault spree in the early morning hours of last Thursday, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.
The siblings had been named as suspects after police learned of four separate instances where people, including those who are homeless, were shot with a BB gun by suspects inside a Hyundai sedan in the city’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood.
Police had also released surveillance footage showing one of the assaults on multiple homeless people who were sleeping on the sidewalk.

The driver then pulls away, but soon after reverses and another occupant fires more shots from the BB gun, the video shows.

An individual attempts to find cover from allegedly being shot as the car drives away from the scene. Cincinnati Police DepartmentBy Monday, police recovered the vehicle, which had been spray painted, and said the sisters were wanted on three counts of assault.
Police said Tuesday an unidentified man was inside the car with the sisters. It’s unclear if he will face charges.
