It looks like 2012 was the year of the box-office apocalypse for “Heathers” star Christian Slater.

Slater racked up one of the biggest bombs ever by a major name when “Playback,” his indie horror thriller, made only $264 at the domestic box office this year.

The flick, in which Slater plays a dirty cop, was shown in only one theater, making a mere $252 in its opening weekend. It added the remaining $12 during the rest of the week it.

The 98-minute-long, R-rated movie was released for on-demand TV before it hit theaters for that one sad week in March.

The year’s top movie, “Marvel’s The Avengers,” made $623,357,646 more than Slater’s flick.
