The time of death must have been 4:20.
A 28-year-old dope tried to smuggle more than $33,000 worth of marijuana by hiding it inside a casket in a white hearse, authorities said.
Border Patrol agents near an immigration checkpoint in Tucson pulled over the hearse on Saturday, Customs and Border Protection Arizona said in a tweet.
After “several inconsistencies and based on the totality of the circumstances,” a K9 unit was called, which picked up the stench of the drug, CBP said.
Agents unloaded the wooden casket and discovered 67 pounds of pot – mixed with several bags of manure in an attempt to mask the odor.
The man, a US citizen who was not identified, was arrested on drug smuggling charges. The hearse and drugs were seized.
