Fugitive whistleblower Edward Snowden didn’t abandon his pole-dancing girlfriend Lindsay Mills over the NSA leaks after all, a new documentary reveals.

The couple has been living happily in Moscow since July and is pictured together in the film, “Citizenfour,” which premiered at the New York Film Festival Friday.

Snowden’s lawyer Anatoly Kucherena confirmed the lovebirds’ reunion and said they’ve been taking in Russian theaters and cultural sights together.
“Love is love,” he told AFP. “She lives with him when she comes here. Moral support is very important for Edward.”

Mills, a former nightclub dancer who’s dated Snowden since 2009, is shown cooking with him in his wood-paneled kitchen but isn’t interviewed.

She does not live in Russia full-time because of visa restrictions, Kucherena noted.

Snowden, charged with espionage in the U.S., has been granted asylum in Russia through August 2017.

Mills’s whereabouts remained a mystery since last summer, when Snowden admitted he was behind the biggest intelligence leak in American history.

She hasn’t publicly spoken about Snowden, and her father told the Guardian in January that her beau abandoned her.

Shortly after Snowden fled to Hong Kong in May 2013, Mills wrote on her now-defunct blog, “Sometimes life doesn’t afford proper goodbyes.”

He told her he was leaving on a business trip and would return to their home in a Honolulu suburb in a few weeks.

The “Citizenfour” film — named after Snowden’s alias — shows an emotional Snowden breaking the news to Mills online from his hotel room.

“She has no idea what I’m doing,” Snowden said, adding that he feels “badly” about disappearing while she was on vacation but that he’s doing it to protect her.

The film shows the couple staying in touch after the NSA surveillance story broke — including a scene where Mills tells Snowden his rent checks aren’t going through.
