A difficult week carried further sadness Wednesday, after a fertilizer plant exploded in the town of West, Texas, killing an unknown number of residents and injuring dozens more.

That explosion came two days after deadly bombings at the Boston Marathon.

People used social media to share their sadness and concern about the Texas explosion.

“Our country has faced more tragedy today with the explosion in Texas,” one Twitter user wrote. “Constant reminders to never take life for granted.”

Country music legend Willie Nelson also shared his sentiments.

“West has been in my backyard all my life. My heart is praying for the community that we call home,” he wrote on Twitter.
