A canine serial killer is using poison wieners to off unsuspecting pooches in California, according to grieving pet owners.

Three Chula Vista dogs met their maker in a span of less than a week — and it’s no coincidence, the owners claim.

“Whoever did this has a personal problem with dogs,” Adrianna Martinez told NBC 7 San Diego. “It’s evil. You know, you just don’t do that to an animal.”

Both of Martinez’s dogs, a 3-year-old golden retriever named Nala and 1-year-old pup Henny, died suddenly April 8.

“He ran up into my bed and was crying, crying and I never heard him cry that way,” she said of Nala. “He didn’t have any control of his body anymore.”

“He threw up a wiener with black inside of it,” she added.

Henny started convulsing shortly after and died in her arms while they were on their way to the vet.

“Within an hour, they were both again,” she said.

‘Someone had clearly put poison in a hot dog.’

An autopsy revealed that a sausage-shaped object filled with pesticides was the cause of death.

Five days later, Kayre Frank’s dog started foaming at the mouth and shaking — unable to breath by the time she rushed her to the vet.

When the vet ran a test, he told her, “It looked like sausage,” she told NBC.

“I don’t have anything like that in the house so I knew something was up,” Frank said. “Someone had clearly put poison in a hot dog.”

Frank was forced to put down Stella, who was turning five next month.

Along with a local police investigation, Frank is now offering a $500 reward for anyone who can help down the pet predator.

“Somebody took the time to obtain this chemical, to put it in a hot dog, to throw it over the fence — obviously knowing we had a dog,” Frank said. “You’re sad, you’re devastated and then you’re angry because you know that somebody did this on purpose.”
