A former Spirit Airlines flight attendant has been charged with bashing her boyfriend over the head with a beer bottle for jokingly calling her “a junkie” on a night out at a Funky Buddha Brewery in Florida.
Annie Bryn Flaherty, 36, told officers responding to the Fort Lauderdale brewery last week that her boyfriend “made a joke calling her a junkie” that made her cry — and then “beat her up,” according to a police report obtained by WPLG.

He said the ex-flight attendant reacted to his quip by first dumping a beer over him, then whacking him over the head with a glass beer bottle when they got to the car, the documents show.
