A New Jersey high school student is in critical condition after being stabbed allegedly by another student, according to reports.
The attack happened at Fort Lee High School just before 11 a.m. Tuesday, with police rushing to the scene and finding the juvenile male victim bleeding from numerous stab wounds, NBC New York reported.

The suspect, also a juvenile male, was apprehended by police at the scene and is in custody.
Fort Lee High is located blocks from the George Washington Bridge and was plunged into lockdown after the incident, with roads in and out of the area closed.
Classes were canceled for the day, while the school assured parents that no danger remained.
“At this time, there is no immediate threat to the safety of our school community, and we are cooperating fully with law enforcement as they conduct their investigation,” said a notice to parents from the school.
“Due to the incident all roads leading to and from Fort Lee High School are closed. Please do not report to the school,” the school added.
