The State Department gave an “inaccurate and incomplete” response about Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail server to a watchdog group making a public-records request two years before it became known to the public.
In 2012, State told Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington there were no documents about Clinton’s e-mail accounts beyond her government address, The Washington Post reported.
