The stepdad of the man whose beating by three Arkansas law enforcement officers was captured in shocking video said he hopes they “burn” for what they did to his son.
The footage, which was shot by a bystander, shows three officers — Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies Zack King and Levi White and Mulberry police officer Thell Riddle — assaulting Randal Worcester as he lies on the ground.
“I hope they burn,” Eric Wedding, Worcester’s stepdad, told the Daily Beast on Monday.
“Enough is enough.”
The officers involved in the Sunday incident outside a convenience store in Mulberry, northwest of Little Rock, have all been suspended, and state police have launched an investigation.

Officers had been called to a convenience store to respond to Randal Worcester’s erratic behavior. Andrew DeMillo/APWedding, a military veteran, told the outlet his family has hired an out-of-state attorney, as well as local lawyer Carrie Jernigan.
“We do not know what would happen if that person would not have been videoing … whoever that is, I think she could have saved his life,” Jernigan said at a recent press conference.
The video — which was posted on TikTok and has since racked up millions of views — shows one officer punching Worcester, while another can be seen hitting the man with his knee.
The third officer is seen pinning Worcester to the ground.
Worcester, 27, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, was taken to the hospital following the incident. He was then jailed and faces multiple charges, including second-degree battery and resisting arrest.
He was released on a $15,000 bond on Monday.
Officers had been called to the convenience store to respond to the man’s erratic behavior, police said.
Gov. Asa Hutchinson said Monday that the law enforcement response shown in the video was “not consistent” with the training carried out at the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy.
