BRUSSELS — The veterinarian looking into last week’s suspected poisoning death of a show dog that returned from Britain’s prestigious Crufts event says it’s still unclear when material found in the animal was eaten.

Show dog Jagger, a 3-year-old Irish Setter, collapsed and died early Friday after leaving the show in Birmingham.
