House Republicans late Thursday reportedly delayed a vote on their latest effort to repeal ObamaCare, ending the opportunity for President Trump to deliver on one of his major campaign promises during his first 100 days in office.

House Speaker Paul Ryan and other GOP leaders came to the conclusion that they did not have enough votes to pass the latest version of their health-care bill, according to Politico.

“We are not voting on health care tomorrow,” Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) told reporters. “We’re still educating members.”

During the 2016 campaign, Trump said he would ask Congress to repeal and replace ObamaCare on “Day One” of his presidency.
