Hell hath no fury like a strong, intelligent, Republican woman scorned.
It’s a lesson billionaire Mark Cuban learned the hard way when he emphatically stated on “The View” that former President Donald Trump is “never” around any “strong and intelligent women,” bringing prominent GOP women out of the woodwork to put him in his place.
“They’re intimidating to him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them. Nikki Haley will call him on his nonsense with reproductive rights and how he sees and treats and talks about women. I mean, he just can’t have her around. It wouldn’t work,” Cuban said on the show Thursday morning.

Soon after Cuban put his foot in his mouth, GOP women started weighing in, many of them sharing pictures of themselves side-by-side with the former president.
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY):
“Democrats have an uncanny ability to say what they think, to show their disdain for the American people. And just two days ago, Joe Biden, the sitting president of the United States, called 250 million Americans ‘garbage.’ And then we have Kamala Harris’s top ally basically calling women who support President Trump weak and dumb, saying that you can’t be strong and intelligent and support President Trump. That is the disgraceful closing argument that Democrats are making.”
New York Rep. Elise Stefanik said that Cuban’s remarks show how Democrats have “disdain for the American people.” Christopher SadowskiKayleigh McEnany, former White House press secretary and cohost of “Outnumbered” on Fox News Channel:
“This is so profoundly offensive. I worked for Donald Trump. I consider myself a strong woman. I consider those around me strong women. Kellyanne Conway, Brooke Rollins, Ivanka Trump, Hope Hicks, Sarah Sanders,” she said on the program Thursday.
“That’s before we get to the women Donald Trump elevated to very high levels, like Nikki Haley who still supports him, like Amy Coney-Barrett, who he put on the Supreme Court.”
“What about the women who vote for Donald Trump? Are they weak? Are they dumb? Did Mark Cuban just insult any woman who supports Donald Trump?”
Tomi Lahren, Fox News commentator and host of “Tomi Lahren is Fearless” podcast:
“The Left hates women? Maybe that’s why they want men in our sports and bathrooms?”
Riley Gaines, champion swimmer turned author and women’s sports advocate:
“Hey Mark Cuban, if you never see Trump around strong, intelligent women, then explain this,” she wrote in a post on X accompanied by a photo of her and Trump standing together.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.):
“First we had Joe Biden calling all of us garbage. Now Mark Cuban has come out and says there’s no ‘strong, intelligent women’ supporting Trump, Greene says in a video on X wearing workout clothes in a garage full of gym equipment.
“Hang on, I’ve gotta finish this set,” she says before performing a handful of pullups.
“Here’s the problem with Mark Cuban: He suffers from low testosterone. The guy looks just like Rachel Maddow. And here’s his issue: He’s actually intimidated by strong, intelligent women like me. Graduated from UGA with a business degree, I run a very successful construction company in Georgia, and now I’m going on my third term in Congress. I love guns, especially AR-15s, and I support President Trump.”
Alina Habba, senior advisor and attorney for former President Trump:
Alina Habba, the attorney who became a breakout star of Trump’s NYC “hush-money” trial in May, rattled off a list of cases she’s won on behalf of the former president.
“By the way, I could keep going. But those are the cases I win. And your left-wing media and your rhetoric, and your putting people down? President Trump doesn’t do that. He surrounds himself with strong women like me. So Mark Cuban, you can go to hell. I’m voting for Trump because I want my daughter to never, ever be around people who speak like you do.”
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.):
“Mark Cuban just went on ‘The View’ this morning and said that there are no strong or intelligent women that support President Trump, which is by definition misogyny,” she said, accusing the tycoon of being an “out-of-touch billionaire” who is trying to “bully women” into supporting Kamala Harris with “disgusting comments.”
“He’s an elitist, again, out of touch, but he’s also part of the same party that’s trying to remove ‘mothers,’ that are trying to call us ‘birthing persons’ or ‘chest-feeders.’ They can’t even define what a woman is, and yet the arrogance in trying to lecture strong and independent women that are outside the groupthink mentality into who to vote for? I don’t think so.”
Janiyah Thomas, black media director of the Trump campaign:
In a post on X, the Trump campaign’s black media director, Janiyah Thomas, described herself as “a strong, intelligent black woman that is honored to support and work for President Trump,” including a scathing video.
“Hey Mark, you remember me? Last week you asked if I wanted to take a picture with you. Not only are you arrogant, but you’re misogynistic too. My name is Janiyah Thomas, and I’m supporting Donald J. Trump for president.”
Kristi Noem, Governor of South Dakota:
Trump ally Kristi Noem, the Governor of South Dakota, posted a short but sweet challenge to the billionaire.
“Mark Cuban just said he’s never seen President Donald Trump around strong and intelligent women. Well, game on buddy,” she said while folding her arms.
“I’ll take you on any day in a debate, or maybe even arm wrestling.”
Vianca Rodríguez, Hispanic communications director for the RNC and the Trump campaign:
Speaking in Spanish, Vianca Rodríguez, Trump campaign’s Hispanic communications director, identified herself loudly and proudly as a strong, intelligent Trump-supporting woman.
“I am Vianca Rodríguez. I am a Latina, Puerto Rican, strong, intelligent woman that is extremely proud to support President Donald Trump and to have the honor to work for him,” she said on X in a post directed at Cuban with the hashtag #DealWithIt
Jessie Jane Duff, 2024 executive director of Veterans for Trump and retired Marine Corp gunnery sergeant:
“So Mark Cuban doesn’t think I’m strong or intelligent. Let me introduce myself. I’m a retired Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant & served 20 yrs on active duty. I was selected by President Trump to be his Executive Director Veterans for Trump, the largest coalition of the 2024 campaign,” she said in a video on X.
“Are you saying I’m not strong or intelligent? You’d have to look much further, go back to 1980, to see the record that president has with selecting strong and intelligent women. He selected a 31-year-old woman to lead the largest construction site in New York City at that time, and it became Trump Tower. She went on to work for President Trump for 18 years.”
