A University of Florida student faces stalking charges after allegedly showing up unannounced in an ex’s apartment and sending her threatening texts.

Calvin Ming Leung Yeung, 20, of Gainseville, allegedly sent her a series of messages Friday saying he was going to rape her so he could “own” her again, according to student newspaper The Alligator.

Police said he also made threats to kill or harm the ex-girlfriend and then commit suicide.

She told authorities that she contacted Yeung’s roommate who urged her to leave her Gainseville apartment.

After she left, Yeung showed up uninvited and let himself inside, police said.

He quickly realized his ex-girlfriend wasn’t home, but stayed to wait for her return, The Alligator reported.

The 20-year-old was arrested late Friday night and charged with aggravated stalking, dating violence and written threat to kill or injure.

He was taken to Alachua County Jail, where his bond was set at $100,000.
