A 19-year-old New Hampshire man is in stable condition after being shot at Dartmouth College, police said Saturday.
Gage Young, 22, of Lebanon, New Hampshire was charged with second-degree assault, Hanover Police said. It’s unclear what sparked the shooting.
The victim, who was not a Dartmouth student, was found on the ground Friday evening outside the school’s Christian Science Reading Room, and was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, authorities said.
