Cops investigating a mass shooting at an Ohio music festival on Monday took a teenager into custody for questioning, according to his father.
The unidentified 18-year-old male was brought in regarding Saturday’s shooting at the Old West End Fest in Toledo that injured 12 people, reported WTVG.
Cops were seen executing a search warrant at a home in the city at around 1:30 p.m. Monday, the outlet reported earlier.

No official charges have yet been announced, and police have not confirmed any details about the search warrant.
Authorities earlier reported that Saturday’s incident started after an altercation between two separate shooters.

Toledo police officers searching a home in connection to the mass shooting. WTVGAll 12 victims—ranging in age from 14 to 61—were listed in “stable condition” and expected to survive as of Sunday afternoon, according to authorities.
Most of the victims were in their early 20s, police said earlier.
Toledo Police Department did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
On Monday morning, police said they were tracking “multiple leads” following the shooting close to the festival, where hundreds had gathered to enjoy live music, food vendors and home tours.

Local leaders, including Toledo’s mayor, public safety director, and police chief, are planning a press conference on Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time, in the wake of Saturday’s bloodshed, the 16th mass shooting in the city since 2016.
“The mass shooting this past Saturday, June 6, 2026, was one of the most horrifying events to happen to our City. We stand united to heal and come back from this stronger,” said Council President Vanice Williams, as reported by WTOL.
“This incident does not define our community. We call on those that have any information, please come forward,” she continued.
