A suspicious package that prompted an evacuation at a North Carolina office building turned out to be a cassette tape by the classic rock group Journey.
Police in Charlotte responded to the Duke Energy Building on Tuesday morning after an employee in the mail room found a small package that seemed suspicious, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
The K-9 and bomb units were called to the scene and pedestrian traffic was stalled — but cops quickly determined the parcel was not a threat.
“The package was a small manila envelope — it was a cassette tape,” an officer said at the scene. “It was actually a Journey cassette tape.”
It was not clear which Journey album the cassette was. Police said it was addressed to an employee in the building.
