Authorities have intercepted a third suspicious package sent to CNN — this time to the network’s headquarters in Atlanta, it was revealed Monday.
The parcel “was intercepted at an Atlanta post office,” CNN President Jeff Zucker told staffers in a memo, according to the network.
“There is no imminent danger to the CNN Center,” he added.
Two mail bombs were sent to the network’s New York offices last week — but the third package comes after the arrest of suspect Cesar Sayoc Jr. in Florida on Friday.
Sayoc, apparently a big fan of President Trump, is accused of mailing pipe bombs to several people with whom the commander in chief has openly quarreled — including President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Democratic donor George Soros and New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker.
He is expected to appear in court Monday.
