WASHINGTON — Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s oldest son said yesterday he’s ruled out a run for an open Senate seat in Massachusetts.

“The timing is not right for me,” Tagg Romney, 42, said. Voters will select a replacement for John Kerry, who resigned to become secretary of state, in a special election in June.
