An assistant teacher at a college prep school has been arrested and fired for allegedly groping a 15-year-old female student in a classroom, according to police.
Priscilla Castro, 27, was accused of inappropriately touching the girl on the last day of school in May while they were alone in a room at KIPP University Prep High School in San Antonio, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by WOAI.
The girl told police that Castro was overly affectionate with her throughout the school year and “made her feel uncomfortable.”

The teen’s mother reported the touching to police after her daughter told her what happened, the docs said.
Castro was booked into the Bexar County Jail early Saturday morning and has since been released.
She is barred from going near KIPP University Prep High School and forbidden to have contact with children under the age of 17, according to police. She was also fired, the school said.
“As soon as we were notified of alleged sexual misconduct between a teacher and a student at KIPP Aspire, we immediately conducted an internal investigation and alerted the student’s family and the San Antonio Police Department as well as other appropriate state agencies,” the public charter school said in a statement.
“After conducting our internal investigation, we terminated the teacher’s employment.”
