A twisted former teacher’s aide in Pennsylvania will spend at least five years in prison for having sex with a 13-year-old special-needs girl — who hopes he rots behind bars for taking her “happiness away,” according to a report.
Jean Pierre Larue, 36, received a five- to 12-year prison sentence Wednesday after pleading guilty in April to felony involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child less than 16 while employed at the Ferguson K-8 school in York, the York Dispatch reported.
The girl — who told police the sex acts took place during a three-month span starting in September — blasted the former school employee in a scathing victim impact statement that she wrote with help from her therapist.
“You make me sick,” she wrote in the letter read in court by her mother. “You took my happiness away.”
What the teen initially mistook as love was simply Larue “taking advantage of a girl,” the letter continued. She’s now unable to maintain close relationships, the girl wrote.
“You stole that from me,” the letter read. “I hope you rot in jail because that’s where disgusting abusers like you belong.”
The girl’s mother then scolded Larue for taking “everything” from her daughter, the newspaper reports.
“You destroyed your family,” she said. “You destroyed my family … You’re just sick.”
The girl previously told police that she had sex with Larue at his home, where he also performed oral sex on her, court documents show.
Larue, who was fired by the York City School District a month after pleading guilty, did not speak in court during Wednesday’s proceeding and his attorney declined to comment, the York Dispatch reported.
