A driving lesson turned tragic in Florida when a teenage girl accidentally backed a pickup truck over her father — killing him, according to a report.

The 46-year-old dad was standing in front of the Ford truck, teaching his 15-year-old daughter how to park at Anderson Park in Tarpon Springs Tuesday when she accidentally hit the gas instead of the break, according to WFLA.

The vehicle hopped a curb and plowed into her father, pinning him against a tree, Tarpon Springs Police Department told the station.

Police arrived to find the girl “tending to her father,” the Tampa Bay Times reported.

The dad, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the hospital at 8 p.m.

The crash is under investigation, according to cops.
