A 14-year-old Wisconsin boy was airlifted to the hospital after attempting to inhale alcohol with a vaping device during class, according to police.
The student was transported in critical condition around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday from River Ridge High School in Patch Grove, news station WISC-TV reported.
Authorities said the teen was suffering symptoms of alcohol poisoning from misusing the electronic smoking device.
He was brought to Crossing Rivers Medical Center then airlifted to the University Hospital, officials said.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said they are investigating the incident.
