A Detroit teen was sentenced to life behind bars for the grisly Christmas murder of her handicapped mother.

Delilah Sherwood Evans appeared in Macomb County court Thursday and was ordered to spend life in prison without the possibility of parole, news station WXYZ reported.

Evans was convicted of first-degree premeditated murder for killing her 45-year-old mom, Sonia Range, at their Clinton Township home in December 2016.

Her family claimed that Evans has mental health issues and was talking about hearing voices when she stabbed to death her mother, who was confined to a wheelchair.

Following the slaying, the then-17-year-old fled to a local 7-Eleven and was arrested, according to police.
