A Texas man allegedly shot two family members because he believed they were practicing witchcraft on him, cops said.

Wilman Sandoval, 23, appeared to grin slightly in his mugshot after he was arrested on multiple charges at an apartment complex in Houston on Sunday, according to police.

A few hours earlier, Sandoval supposedly “got up off the couch” and fired a black handgun into the kitchen where a relative was cooking, preliminary court records viewed by The Post said.

The first victim was shot six times, the document stated.

When a second relative went to help the first with their injuries, Sandoval allegedly turned the gun on them and fired twice – striking the other family member once in the head.

A third relative was also home at the time, and told authorities they saw Sandoval “point the black handgun directly” at them – but did not appear to have been shot, the court filing explained.

“The alleged shooter may have suspected that family members were conducting some type of witchcraft on him, and he was upset about it,” Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez explained at a press conference from the scene, according to KHOU11.

The two injured victims – a male and a female – were in “fair condition” Sunday night and were expected to survive, the sheriff wrote on X at the time.

It was unclear if Sandoval had a history of mental health issues, the sheriff added.

“Apparently this caught everyone by surprise,” he noted at the presser.

The pistol used in the shooting was recovered from the scene, police said.

There are conflicting reports as to how to victims were connected to Sandoval, and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately return The Post’s request for a comment.

Sandoval is now facing three felony counts of aggravated assault, per court records.

On Monday, a judge set his bond at $250,000.

Sandoval is due back in court on Friday.
