Two teenage brothers were killed in a suspected drive-by shooting outside a Texas home on Saturday, a report said.
Devin Massey, 15, and 17-year-old Jonathan Massey were in a vehicle outside a Fresno home when they — and a third person — were struck by gunfire, Click2Houston reported, citing police.
The siblings were declared dead on scene, and the other victim was seriously injured, the report said.
“Our children were randomly murdered last night and we would like to ask for prayers and justice,” the brothers’ parents said in a Sunday statement.
“As parents, we ask for any leads big or small.”
Investigators believe several suspects inside a car pulled into the driveway of the home and opened fire on the victims.
Police are still working to determine a possible motive.
“We want our boys to be remembered for their respectful character and their charismatic, fun-loving ways,” the family said in their statement.
