REFILE - CORRECTING TYPO What is believed to be wreckage from crashed AirAsia flight QZ8501 in the Java Sea is pictured in this underwater photograph released by Indonesia's National Search And Rescue Agency (BASARNAS) January 7, 2015. The tail of a crashed AirAsia jet has been found on the sea bed about 30 km (20 miles) from the plane's last known location, Indonesia's search and rescue agency said on Wednesday, a breakthrough that investigators hope will lead to the crucial black box recorders. Flight QZ8501 vanished from radar screens over the northern Java Sea on Dec. 28, less than half-way into a two-hour flight from Indonesia's second-biggest city of Surabaya to Singapore. There were no survivors among the 162 people on board. Pic shows: A local pensioner and his pals decided to shovel snow into the middle to make this giant crocodile. This pond has been transformed into an ice skating rink with a difference after a local pensioner and his pals decided to shovel snow into the middle to make a giant crocodile. Retired teacher Liu Qingwu, 66, said: "I saw all the kids skating on the pond and would like to join them, but at my age skating isn't something I really want to take up as I don't want to break anything. "But after watching them from a park bench for a while, I thought it seemed a bit boring and wondered if it might be possible to liven it up by making something out of snow like a snowman. "My first creation was really well received and some of the kids helped me out, and then we all agreed to back the next day and try and make something bigger and better." In the end the small group working at the pond in Jilin city in northeast China’s Jilin province managed to put together this impressive crocodile which has now become more exciting people to visit than the ice-skating rink itself. Lio added: "As a former teacher I always had a good relationship with my kids and it was great to work with children again, in the end we spent 10 days creating a crocodile." He said they reckoned it would probably be there for several months yet until the ice started to melt when the temperatures rose, and added that next year he'd like to do something even bigger and more ambitious, like a dinosaur. "That's if global warming doesn't get it first," he added jokingly. (ends)
