ISIS is kicking butt — with a brutal campaign against cigarette-selling shopkeepers.

Those caught selling cigarettes in Mosul, an ISIS-controlled city in northern Iraq, are subject to 80 lashes, more than two weeks behind bars and the equivalent of a $580 fine.

Anyone caught trying to import cigarettes faces 80 lashes, four months in jail and a fine of up to 4 million dinar, or roughly $3,300.

Smokers in Mosul can also be fined 20,000 dinar, or about $16, if they’re caught puffing away.

ISIS has said that “every smoker should be aware that with every cigarette he smokes in a state of trance and vanity he is disobeying God.”
