This police department’s “public service announcement” was a bit rye.

Officers at the Tecumseh Police Department in Oklahoma announced on Facebook that they would be conducting free testing for gluten-laced meth.

“Please bring your meth to the Tecumseh Police Department for your FREE test,” according to the notice.

The post has been shared over 400 times, with many Facebook users seemingly supportive of the tongue-in-cheek plan.

“Gluten is bad for everyone,” Facebook user Amy Britt commented. “Nice and helpful TPD. Always good to watch those that warn their friends too.”

Despite it’s lightheartedness, the PSA highlights a more serious issue; Oklahoma is among the nation’s leader in meth labs, arrests, addictions and cases, according to Stop Meth Addiction.
