These two lions are not letting a downpour prevent them from having a roaring good time.

The big cats were captured in photos taken by Giuseppe D’amico earlier this year in the swamps of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania.

“We knew there was a couple of lions in love and when we saw a heavy rainstorm approaching,” D’amico, a 67-year-old photographer from L’Aquila, Italy, told Caters News.

“Essentially we chased the storm to reach the pair of lions, hoping that the rain would create interesting situations,” he said. “When the rain began to fall, it created a wonderful atmosphere.”
