The latest woman to come forward with accusations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was accused of domestic violence by an ex-boyfriend in 2001, a report said.
Julie Swetnick was named as the defendant in a domestic violence case — which was later dismissed — in Miami-Dade Circuit Court on March 1, 2001, according to documents obtained by the Miami Herald.
Politico reported that a restraining order was also filed against Swetnick.
“Right after I broke up with her, she was threatening my family, threatening my wife and threatening to do harm to my baby at that time,” the former boyfriend, Richard Vinneccy, told Politico. “I know a lot about her.”
“She’s not credible at all,” he said. “Not at all.”
The case was dismissed after 13 days, however, when both did not show up for a court appearance.
