Murderous cult leader Charles Manson died of acute cardiac arrest, respiratory failure and complications from metastatic colon cancer, according to his death certificate.

The document — which TMZ obtained from Kern County, Calif. – lists cardiac arrest as the immediate cause of death, with the other conditions as underlying causes.

The notorious 83-year-old died Nov. 19 after being rushed to a hospital from California’s Corcoran State Prison, where he had been serving a life sentence.

The California Department of Corrections said at the time of his death that the mastermind behind the Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969 had died of natural causes.

Manson’s body remains unburied while three people battle over his last will and testament.

Late last month, his longtime pen pal Michael Channels filed documents in California probate court in a bid to be designated the executor.

Channels has been at war with two other people over the madman’s estate — his self-proclaimed son, Matthew Roberts, 49, and his alleged grandson, Jason Freeman, 41.

According to TMZ, the two men have 120 days to challenge Channels’ will.
