This hapless seagull fell into a vat of chicken tikka masala in the UK — and now smells delicious.

“The thing that shocked us most was the smell,” even after a good scrubbing, veterinary nurse Lucy Kells marveled to Wales Online.

“Gullfrazie,” as he’s now called, made “everyone’s belly rumble,” she said.

“He smelled amazing.”

The bird was discovered foundering in a vat of waste curry behind a Welsh food factory on Monday. The dip in the spicy Indian delicacy left him a bright orange.

“We think he was fishing out chicken and fell in,” Kells said.

Workers rushed him to a wildlife hospital near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, where a scrubbing has restored him to his original gray and white.

He’s being kept at the Vale Wildlife Hospital for a couple a weeks so the natural waterproofing oils in his feathers are restored.

“Once we got all the chicken tikka off him he was looking quite nice,” Kells said.
