A tractor-trailer carrying massive amounts of beer veered off the road and flipped, spilling thousands of gallons of grog onto Route 44 in Connecticut early Monday.
The massive spill shut down the road for hours, according to police.

The road was closed for hours while cleanup crews propped up the damaged big rig and gathered the cans from the scene, cops said.
Cleanup crews reported an extensive delay because they were not immediately notified of the debris in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
