It was Woodstock for the Generation Selfie!
Thousands of glitter-covered merrymakers were stranded in Georgia Saturday night when the last day of shows at North America’s largest EDM festival was canceled due to bad weather — and many were forced to spend the night in the pouring rain, sleeping in the wet, muddy grass.

Glow sticks became caked in mud as TomorrowWorld ticketholders were blocked from leaving by organizers, who prevented cabs, Uber cars and shuttle buses from accessing pickup locations because vehicles were getting stuck in the mud.

Those who had not planned to camp were forced to walk miles through the downpour to escape the 8,000-acre site. Or stay put, and sleep on top of cars.

Festivalgoers took to social media to share their harrowing tales.
“@tomorrowworld nice going charging VIP price and offering the homeless experience. Thousands of people sleeping on the road. #notmagical” tweeted a festivalgoer using the handle “@OldGumpyNerd.”
There are also some allegations on social media that a stranded woman attempting to leave was sexually assaulted. Local police are investigating.
TomorrowWorld organizers said Sunday tickets will be refunded entirely.
