A woman and three young children died in an apparent murder-suicide in Virginia, authorities said.
Cops responded to a home in Marion where they found the bodies of a 27-year-old woman and two children — ages 3 and 10 — at around 6:15 a.m. Friday, according to the Smyth County Sheriff’s Office.
A 6-year-old child was flown from the scene to Johnson City Medical Center in Tennessee in critical condition but later died, police said.
An 8-year-old child managed to escape the carnage, police said.
Police didn’t say how the woman committed the homicides.
Cops have not revealed a motive for the killings or what the relationship is between the victims.
