Three people were killed when their single-engine plane crashed shortly after taking off from a Georgia airport, officials said.

The plane took off from Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport in Gainesville and was en route to Daytona Beach, Florida, when it crashed into a ravine after 6 p.m. Friday, according to WTVD.

Dan Delonce, 44, Courtney Flanders, 45, and Matthew Delonce, 39, all died at the scene, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

A part of a wing landed on a mobile home near the crash site, sending a family of four to evacuate. No one on the ground was injured, WSB-TV reported.
